Radio Times CoverFor Martha’s first trip in the Tardis, the Doctor takes her back in time, to Elizabethan England, as the third series of Russell T Davies’s Doctor Who continues. When they find William Shakespeare under the control of deadly witch-like creatures, they must battle forces from the dawn of the universe to stop history being changed for ever.

David Tennant plays the Doctor and Freema Agyeman plays his new companion, Martha Jones. Dean Lennox Kelly guest stars as William Shakespeare

Finally, congratulations to Millenium FX for their BAFTA nomination for Neill Gorton and Vanessa White’s work on The Catherine Tate Show

Last year they left with the award for best Make-Up and Hair Design for Paul Whitehouse’s brilliant bitter sweet comedy pastiche series, ‘HELP!’, and to be up for another for transforming the multi-talented Catherine Tate into characters like Derek Faye and Nan Taylor is tremendously exciting!

Which brings us nicely back to the current Radio Times which features a behind-the-scenes look at Doctor Who Series 3 for the duration of the series run, and this weel a look at some of Millenium FX’s most successful Doctor Who creations, as well as interviews with David Tennant and Freema Agyeman. I think I just persuaded you…

Stay tuned… there’s loads more to come!
