That’s certainly the question on many peoples lips this weekend as it emerges that Roger Moore (James Bond #3) has expressed an interest in appearing in Doctor Who.
Following confirmation of Timothy Dalton’s appearance in the final David Tennant episodes over the Christmas period, Roger Moore – who was succeeded by Dalton as Bond in the long running movie series – has said he’s “available”.
Although it’s not quite clear who he wants to play:
“I believe Timothy is to appear in one of the new episodes, so if they ever want anyone to play his dad, I’m available.”
So – he wants to play the Doctor’s dad? Or Timothy Dalton’s dad?
Either way, surely now we’re waiting for Sean Connery to express an interest in Rassilon, George Lazenby to play an older Eighth Doctor and Pierce Brosnan to appear as Lord Borusa…
