Doctor Who has been nominated for 3 Hugo awards – the annual sci-fi awards ceremony considered to be the very pinnacle of critical success and acceptance for many genre writers.

Opposition to Doctor Who in this category comes from episodes of the now-cancelled Dollhouse and the declining Flash Forward.
