Catch the BroaDWcast!

Ever been to a website called BroaDWcast? It’s a Doctor Who related website that deals specifically with overseas broadcast dates for Doctor Who episodes.

The site offers a multitude of goodies for fans wanting to know some interesting factoids about their favourite show including all the countries that Doctor Who has aired in since 1964, foreign language episode titles and even images of TV listings from foreign magazines and newspapers.

As related by the Doctor Who news page, the BroaDWcast has recently updated to include information on broadcasting of the classic series of Doctor Who abroad in places such as Nigeria, Japan, Netherlands and Canada which was one of the first countries in the world to screen Doctor Who (after the UK of course).

The website itself is simple yet effective. Easy to use, and everything grouped together exactly as you would wish to find it. Stores are easy to locate and the information that is available is at your fingertips straight away.

You can search by Doctor, by story title or even by country if you know specifically what you are looking for. There are also some fascinating articles that are included looking at various aspects from changing the title of a story to the process of buying and selling a story overseas.

Visit to see it in action.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
