It’s all kicking off in the Doctor Who world from today. At the end of tonight’s episode, The Almost People, we’ve been promised a huge cliffhanger that will shock and captivate.
This leads to the massive, game changing episode scheduled for next Saturday, A Good Man goes to War. In this episode, we’re promised a revelation of certain secrets that have been keeping us in the dark for the past couple of years and you can bet your bottom dollar that River Song is the centre point of all the problems.
With those mouth watering elements in mind, you’d think that’d be enough for the show’s producers to deal with but Steven Moffat, in his never ending need to up the stakes in Doctor Who, has also written into the script the return of several of the Doctor’s oldest enemies to shake things up even more!
The Cybermen will be popping their logical little heads into the mix to make things even more difficult and as well as them there will also be Sontarans and Silurians as well. Episode director Peter Hoar certainly has plenty on his plate. And is it just us or is this shaping up to be a Pandorica reunion, with everyone wearing name badges and awkwardly conversing about what they’ve been up to since they tried to save the Universe from the Doctor?
A storm is definitely coming…
The Almost People is on BBC One tonight at 6:45pm.
