Flesh and Chemical Brothers

You all know the work of Director Adam Smith. Or, more precisely, you’ve seen it but may not have attached his name to it.

Smith is responsible for realising some of the Eleventh Doctor’s finest adventures such as The Eleventh Hour, The Time Of Angels and Flesh and Stone. But he was working hard before Doctor Who and can also take credit for creating some truly original music videos. Some that you ma recognise include “Sheila” by Jamie T, “Blinded By The Lights” by The Streets and “Galvanise” by The Chemical Brothers.

And now, the Director’s work will be displayed in selected cinemas as they screen The Chemical Brothers: Don’t Think, which is an exclusive concert event filmed at a live show in Japan last year.

Some of you may be fans of The Chemical Brothers music whereas other may not have heard of the group. What you should do is try and catch this gig as the band put on an amazing live show.

Smith has been a long-time collaborator with The Chemical Brothers and has always shown an interesting style of direction, so it will be brilliant to see what he offers the audience.

While he may or may not be lined up to do any more Doctor Who, Adam Smith currently features in an interview at Westword.com

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
