Karen Gillan: we love her.

Two Ponds at Return To The Eleventh Hour!

After the success of The 11th Hour, a Doctor Who convention that celebrated all that is good about the Eleventh Doctor’s era, the organisers Starfury are very excited to announce another Doctor Who convention for 2013, Return To The Eleventh Hour!

Karen Gillan: we love her.

Taking place in June, the three day event will offer all sorts of fun and games as well as guest appearances, most of which are to be confirmed. We can however tell you that the wonderful Karen Gillan will be there in person entertain you, as is Caitlyn Blackwood – two Ponds for the price of one!

Return To The Eleventh Hour will feature parties, autograph signing sessions, photo opportunities, guest talks and much more on top of all that. Hosted at The Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham, which will be offering reduced rates on rooms for attendees, the event will be throwing a massive party every night with separate themes for every evening of the weekend.

Full weekend tickets cost £90.00 each and will include entry for the full three days, entry to all stage guest talks and Q&A sessions, entry to the disco taking place each night, an autograph on a personal item from each of the headline guests. Alternatively, you can choose to upgrade to the Gold ticket for £160.00 which will get you all of the weekend ticket offerings as well as priority seating in the Q&A sessions, priority during the autograph sessions, a free autograph on a personal item from bonus guests and more. Children aged eight to fourteen can get their tickets for £35.00 each and children from seven and under will get in completely free so if you’re a parent with a Doctor Who fascination, this is the convention for you!

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
