Kitt-o Doctor Who 2D & 3D Kits from Forbidden Planet

Some of you may have heard of Kitt-o.

Need a refresher?

Kitt-o is a range of paper construction figures that were released last year. The idea is that they come flat packed; you pop out the pieces and then construct your own character from flat to standing. It’s all terribly fun and creative and starts at a very affordable £2.99. There are all sorts of franchises covered from Star Wars to Little Big Planet and of course, the reason you’re reading this, Doctor Who.

Forbidden Planet already has the first wave of construction figures which includes a Cyberman, two Silurians (one without a mask and one with), a Weeping Angel, a Vashta Nerada spacesuit and a Sontaran. These cool little figures form a healthy 2d shape when standing, and cost just £1.99.

The company also have available a 3D version of a Cyberman as well, one that we imagine will need more time and patience to build but will look just as splendid. The Super Kitt-O Cyberman kit looks very impressive on the website and will no doubt look even better in your living room or kitchen or Pandorica (if you have one). As it’s bigger, this kit retails at £11.99 but that’s still in a very nice price range.

What happens when an eight year old kid watches the 1993 repeat run of Planet of the Daleks? He pretty much ends up here writing about the show that grabbed hold of him and never let go!
