Who Are You Supposed To Be? stars Blogtor Who's Cameron McEwan

‘Who Are You Supposed To Be?’ Hits London in November!

A light-hearted new comedy – Who Are You Supposed to Be – is set to perform at the Etcetera Theatre in London.

A new work by Australian writer Keith Gow, the play draws on real-life experiences from the world of fandom, and stars confirmed ‘geeks’ Cameron McEwan and Jennifer Lusk, (who met for the first time at a Serenity screening in Melbourne!)

As the play’s synopsis puts it:

The characters of Gene (McEwan) and Ash (Lusk) are wonderfully flawed, and their particular foibles allow the play to examine notions of masculinity, feminism, mental disorder, the perils of social media relationships and the fundamentals of human interaction. All under the playful banner of Doctor Who and Star Wars fandoms!

A meticulously-researched piece, the comedy’s lead actor – Cameron McEwan – is also the editor of the popular Doctor Who fan site, Blogtor Who! And it would seem the hard work has paid off, as the play has so far received a string of positive reviews from the likes of Cult Den and Broadway Baby, following its premier at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
