Not sure it’s a good idea to bring it back – liked it then, but the idea’s passe now.

Also, if Sky are doing it, I anticipate the gaudy, soapy style of such treats as The Mile High Club and Dream Team but in space.

i really hope it does get a remake, maybe it’ll be pants but we gotta keep positive.  it just might be ok, so long as we accept that it isn’t the old series and allow some changes.  It was a long time ago.

Do you know what? At the risk of being beaten severely, I never liked Blakes7, could never see the appeal in murder by curling tong.

Sky can make good genre shows… look at the Pratchett adaptations they’ve done.

I liked B7 – Vila was my favourite character. When paired up with Avon they were a great double-act.

I see this fitting into the Whedon/Firefly mould and if they pull it off then it’lll be a winner. Fugitives living on the outskirts of civilisation, making what they can of their lives while the evil federation hunts them down.

I just hope they don’t have a pantomime evil queen figure like Servalan!

    I wonder what’s happened to this then…

The Pratchett adaptations have been good looking and well made but they lost me with David Jason as Rincewind. I know he’s meant to be a failed student but not that failed. They just couldn’t resist shoehorning such a big name into an unsuitable role.

As to Blakes 7, I loved the TV series but I just can’t get interested in a version that doesn’t include Paul Darrow as Avon. He was the key character in the show for me- maybe a revisit in terms of what happened after the last series could work, but anything that involves recasting would just be pointless to me.
