When Things Were Rotten:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/When_Things_Were_Rotten

When Things Were Rotten was a short-lived spoof series on Robin Hood from Mel Brooks which lasted for 13 episodes between September 10 and December 3 1975.

This series featured two principal cast members who were in Get Smart several years earlier and also created by Brooks.
They were Dick Gautier and Bernie Kopell.
Gautier is Robin Hood himself and was Hymie in Get Smart.
Kopell is Alan-a-Dale and was Siegfried in Get Smart.

Other cast members include Dick Van Patten as Friar Tuck and Ron Rifkin as Prince John.

Brooks would spoof Robin Hood again in the movie Robin Hood: Men In Tights which included Van Patten in the cast not as Friar Tuck again but as the Abbot another religious figure.

The Capture of Robin Hood:
Series opener.
Not bad way to begin the series with Gautier charming as Robin.
As someone who likes the female sex Misty Rowe was more charming as Maid Marian.
Typically this first episode features the infamous archery contest.
This leads to Robin’s capture and a hilarious battle at the castle.

The French Dis-connection:
Episode 2.
Guest stars Sid Caesar as the visiting French Ambassador there to sign a treaty.
However it is a treaty that Robin and the band does not want him to sign.
Absolute hilarity of what went on to prevent the signing of this treaty including framing the ambassador in having something with Prince John’s wife.
Funny at the end of the ambassador remarking his difficulty of getting out of England.

Those Wedding Bell Blues:
Episode 4.
Robin and Marian have a tiff and Marian ends up getting in an arranged marriage with a sheikh.
Funny how this wedding got stopped including Tuck pretending to be the Archbishop to officiates at this wedding.
Mel Brooks would get Dick Van Patten (Tuck) to officiates another Marian wedding in Robin Hood: Men In Tights.

The House Band:
Episode 3.
Robin takes the band on vacation which gives the Sheriff the opportunity to recruit evil look-alikes of the band to impersonate them and give the real band a bad name.
Funny how things got resolved when the real band returned home and apparently vengeance on the fake Robin was really ugly.

The Ultimate Weapon:
Episode 6.
Robin has to stop a German scientist in developing the said weapon for Prince John and the Sheriff.
Funny that the scientist likes being ordered and was certainly a battle of orders on him between the Sheriff and Robin.
Curious what the scientist got to up at the end.

There Goes The Neighborhood:
Episode 8.
The Sheriff plans to turn Sherwood Forest into a residential area and hired four men to clear the path for this residential area.
Quite funny that Robin and his band scared these men away including Alan as Dracula. Dracula in Sherwood Forest. That is something I didn’t expect.
Funny about the ghost at the end.

Quarantine:
Episode 9.
Robin and the band gets caught by the Sheriff in the middle of the royal dinner.
However things became worse when a plague came about resulting in friends and foe being trapped together in a quarantine.
The audience from the offset knew what was the cause of the plague and it was worth the wait for the principal characters to find out what this cause was.
Funny the result of this quarantine and also of the literally royal seal!

Ronaldo decides to leave the celebration with his fellow Merry Men to wish his brother Bertram at the castle but becomes a prisoner.
